Storm & Hail Damage Roof Repair
Free inspections, full documentation, and insurance claim support across Dallas–Fort Worth — usually the same day you call.
Think your roof took a hit? Here's what we look for.
Hail and wind damage isn't always obvious from the ground. Our inspectors climb the roof (safely, with proper equipment) and check every surface that's likely to show impact — shingles, flashing, vents, gutters, and siding.
- Circular bruising or granule loss on shingles
- Cracked, split, or missing shingle tabs
- Dented gutters, downspouts, and roof vents
- Damaged flashing around chimneys and skylights
- Soft spots or spongy decking underneath the roof surface
- Interior ceiling stains, which often indicate an active leak
What happens after we find damage
If we find storm damage, we don't just tell you — we document it. Every inspection includes dated photos, measurements, and a written report you keep, whether or not you move forward with us.
- Written damage report with photo documentation
- Guidance on filing a claim with your insurance carrier
- On-site meeting with your adjuster to walk the roof together
- Plain-English review of your approved scope of work
- Scheduled installation once the scope is approved
Repair or full replacement?
Not every storm-damaged roof needs full replacement. If the damage is limited and your roof is newer, a targeted repair may be the right call — and we'll tell you that even though a replacement is a bigger job for us. If your carrier's inspection determines full replacement is warranted, we'll walk you through our Good, Better, and Best roofing systems to match the right materials to your budget.

Schedule Free InspectionStorm Damage — Common Questions
Hail bruises a shingle's protective granule layer without always creating a visible hole or crack — the damage is real, but it's underneath the surface. That bruising is exactly what causes a leak months or even a year later, which is why a professional inspection after a storm matters even if nothing looks wrong from the ground.
This varies by policy and carrier, so check your specific documents — but most insurers set a filing deadline measured in months, not years, after the storm date. Getting a documented inspection soon after a storm protects your ability to file, even if you decide to wait before doing the actual repair work.
Both are typically covered under the same storm/wind-and-hail portion of a homeowner's policy, but they show up differently on the roof — wind tends to lift or tear shingles at the edges and ridges, while hail leaves impact bruising across the whole surface. We document both separately since adjusters look for different evidence of each.
We're a contractor, not an insurance agent, so this is a question worth asking your carrier directly — rate impact varies by company and state. What we can tell you: leaving real storm damage unrepaired usually costs more in the long run than a single claim.
Filing a claim? We'll be there for the adjuster meeting.
Storm damage claims move faster — and go smoother — when your contractor and your adjuster are looking at the same roof, at the same time, with the same documentation.
